Easier said than done !!!

With things going on in my life......I suddenly started singing these lines....

"Trust in the lord and don't despair...He is a friend so true
No matter what your troubles are....He will see you through"

I am waiting for him to see me through...Infact, I guess, we are all waiting to see if He sees us through.

Double Standards and Devil's Advocates

Boy, this topic just struck me...... Hope I don't rub anyone on the wrong side.

Thinking about it, we are all guilty of 'Double Standards and Devil's Advocates'. I don't say we have double standards knowingly ( But if thats the case, then take cover....), but we get into something like that without our own knowledge. We say one thing at one time and act differently when it comes to us being in the receiving side, again knowingly or unknowingly.

Yes, we have to think about ourselves to survive the day, but then we shouldn't advice or play devil's advocates. Lets not have power groups to satisfy our double standard tendencies.

Lets open ourselves to criticism and take it in a constructive manner. Yes, everything in this world is ultimately good and all is well done. But, have we given our best in what we did. Lets not boast ourselves of what we have accomplished. Just remember that there a people with far better accomplishments than what we have. Yes, we have to be proud but not boast ourselves. We have to try to be good at what we do and then once it is done try to be humble about it.

It is just an experience and there can be no great experience ( from my view point) because we don't know if that was our best. And moreover what have we achieved that has not been achieved before. Yes, lesson learnt through the experience, log your memories and move on.

On a lighter note...Car Signs

This one I saw a few days back on a car......

"Don't steal, the government hates competition."

I think there ought be a competition for car signs and see who can come up with outrageously funny and introspectively inspiring car signs.

What taught you what?

There is all this talk about what one's religion had taught you and how it is the best and ofcourse...blah....blah...

I hear people say that my religion taught me this and its the best. They may be right in their own respect. But I beg to differ.

For me, religion has not taught me what I know today. I have learnt everything from 'Life'. What I am is because of the course of events that happend over my life. That is what has moulded me to the way I am. Nature of things and happenings have guided me through struggles and victories. The habits I have and the virtues I hold dear are a result of what life has taught me through stories.

Yes, I am a hindu by birth. I went to temples, said all those vedic chants, had the sacred thread ceremony. What has it taught me? I don't know. I am not ridiculing any religion, but just trying to put forth my views about what I am, the way I am and the reason for it.

Moving Shifting Jigsaw Puzzle called 'Life'

Well, the first four words I heard from a serial or soap called 'The dead zone' I watched yesterday. Those words sure made an impact on me and sure did get a good night's sleep.

The Moving Shifting scheme designed by the Creator seems so awesome to have been designed but it sure is scary when you come to think of it. You never know if what you did will last atleast for sometime. In all possibility, it might not have an impact at all. The challenge is to stay focussed of the 'Source'. Since the 'Source' is always moving, you have to be on the move to keep them in sight. Yes, you will have to maintain the speed and also keep track of the course you are taking. You don't want to shoot too much ahead as you don't know about the other attribute of this 'Source', namely the 'shifting' aspect. You could try to be smart and force ahead more than what is neccessary, but if the 'Source' shifts its airspace little bit, then you might have to take drastic measures to combat this sudden change and get back in the right frequency.

There is no smart way to play it. All you can do is to try and not be too smart. Never try to play something that you are not good at. Never try to play God. All you can do is be a good sport and take one step at a time. Keep the overall picture in mind, but at the same time don't get deluded by the immediate seemingly trivial course of action needed. Because they determine whether you are on par with the moving shifting phenomenon. That which is every changing needs action then and there. So concentrate on what is important now and what you can do to meet it. Have goals, don't get carried away by the fruits it has to offer. Think practically and patiently. Everything will be very easy. But don't take anything for granted.

The best means to achieve this so called ' Living in th present' is to forget the past and don't dream of the future. This will help in being fresh always and be a learner in this game called 'Life'. Take lessons going into the future, not memories.

Nothing is easily achieved nor is it hard to obtain. You have to keep practising and evaluating yourself from time to time.

The end is in sight, when the path is right. All roads might lead to the same desitnation, it depends on you to take the road that will help you keep track of the 'Source'.

Atlast....I am back....

Not that I have been desperate to blog....the simple reason is that I am lazy and also I had no motivation to write. I have been seeing blogs where people are really passionate about the things they believe and some blogs where it is just a customary thing to cos a lot of people are doing it.

Last 6 months have been one of its kind in my life....totally outrageous....extremely unique.....and most of all higly horrifying....but hey I am enjoying it...why? cos what else can you do about things you don't control... O yeah....you can do this......WORRY...but its very easy.....or you can do this.....CRY.....you will soon run out of tears....Man....there are things you can very routinely do....I have had my share of doing such things and I still do, but rarely....

I am learning the art of ....being spaced out yet being firmly grounded....See, the last sentence is an example of what something like life can do to a person.....

Alright, let me not bore you around the same topic anymore....moving on, I have done few good things I should say or rather, I was made to do a few good things....I wrote a few poems which, as usual, I have no clue where it came from and I don't remember them after I write it down. I call them 'Words flowing thro'.

I started reading this book(yeah, shiva reading a book...check outside there might be a tornado coming your way) called 'Lemurian Scrolls' by Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami and it is about angelic prophecies revealing human orgins. Rather than trying to describe the book in my own words, I quote a paragraph about the book

"It is an illustrated, clairvoyant revelation to man's untold hourney to Earth from the Pleiades millions of years ago, and the struggles faced through the eras as souls matured into their ultimate destiny and Divinity."

In short, with the few chapters I have read so far, it sure is mind boggling. I will keep you all updated about the book as I read.

Last month, we had a visitor from SFO and we went to sedona to mainly look at some crystals. Sedona is said to be a big energy center with lot of vortex points. Vortices are energy centers or locations and we went to one such vortex called ' Cathedral Rock Vortex'. It took us nearly two hours to find the location and it sure was quite an experience. I am looking forward to going to that place again sometime soon. I really felt the energy in that location and it is beyond words.

Of late, I have started to meditate with the crystals I bought from sedona and it sure is helping me. I hope to continue doing that.

Moving on to the rest of the news today, I had my hair highlighted and it looks good. Yeah, it was split second decision and for once, I don't regret it.

OK...CHANGE OF HATS.....

There comes a day in once life where the world around you keeps moving and you are frozen in time. You look at people around you and say to yourself ...'How did you get to know these people?' How did they end up knowing you?'. Well, that point according to me is a miracle. Knowing people and not knowing how and why they are in your life is truly amazing. I am not trying to wierd any one. I am truly amazed and gifted to know all the people I know now. I sometimes learn, sometime teach and mostly advice, but I enjoy each and every bit of it. Yeah, you will never feel that way when you look at me.But that's me...

I do feel sad, and it sure is going to haunt me for a while, thinking that we always can't be together. But such is Life ?!@@#....Ahhhh!!! screw it...Lets take it as your assignment for this phase is over and time to move to the next phase....

Right now, I am running out of thoughts to say....I can only hope to be active...but lets see.
